the tracking info on vendors website says 'failed attempt' regarding delivery, despite me being in on the date stated and no note or notice was posted through my door to say an attempt had been made. It instructs me to 'rearrange delivery through ChinaPost'. The tracking number is LM377040137CN.

how can i rearrange delivery please?

LM377040137CN arrived UK on Dec 24. It is now in the hand of Royal Mail. Royal Mail failed delivery. You need contact your local post office to pickup the parcel asap.
