I have used track24 China Post Tracking to track UI025633281CN
it shows 11.12.2018
21:34:00
9 day
Arrive at the [United States] secondary processing center
United States
Estimated delivery period
02.01.2019 - 22.01.2019
Route
United States
should I just wait or have I been scammed any help would be appreciated

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows the parcel arrived USA on Dec 11. Normally such parcel should be delivered in one or two weeks after arriving USA.

I suggest you wait one more week, if you can not get it after New Year holiday, you should open dispute for lost parcel refund.
