I ordered my item 31st Jan I've got a tracking number and it's been sat in departure export customs for a week. LO824510447CN is my tracking number.

LO824510447CN was rejected by Guangzhou airport safety check point on Feb 23. It seems to have some safety problem.

China Post sent it to airline again on the same day. But such item which has reject history normally will wait another one or two more weeks to get scan again. You need wait some more time.

Thank you for your information. I will unfortunately have to cancel as the item was needed for this weekend. I have contacted the seller to inform them, awaiting their reply. Can this also be cancelled/rejected by you?

You can not cancel a shipment which is on the way. However, if seller promised you some shipment deadline, you can open dispute for refund because of seller not honouring the contract.

If you get the refund from seller, you can reject the parcel after arrival.

But my item isn't on its way it sat in a room somewhere cause it's been rejected.

if your purpose is to get refund from seller, you no need cancel the shipment. You can directly open dispute to paypal/aliexpress for refund.
