Purchased 12/16 - cannot locate this shipment and company (Johnson's Gadgets) has no information.

http://track-chinapost.com/result_global.php?code=LT171211252CN shows No shipping record. This means your seller never actually shipped anything yet. you are scammed.

If you paid with paypal/aliexpress, you should open dispute against fraud and claim refund.
