My package CP408889668CN looks like it failed a safety check and then was imported back into China from the airport and then delivered in Beijing. Does this mean that it was returned to the sender? The sender is telling me not to worry about it, that the item is still on it's way and that this status means nothing. And what does a failed safety check mean? It was a bunch of plastic toys in the box, so I'm confused what could fail a safety check for an airline?

http://track-chinapost.com/start_brazilpost.php?code=CP408889668CN shows the parcel failed to pass safety scan and then returned to shipper on Oct 12. You won't get this item in future.

please open dispute to paypal/aliexpress for refund.

BTW, is there any battery inside?
