So I was told by the seller that my package was able to get throughthe airport in Shanghai and that they would send me updated. But I have yet to receive anything after contacting them. So I was wondering if there is any update since me being told that it was rejected at the airport.

RV261379225CN was to Shanghai airport again on Dec 5. I suggest you wait one more week and see what will happen. If it can arrives USA, usps.com will show local result.
