Post UP<9numbers>CN is always fake?

I buy small items from eBay a lot! A few times I have received tracking#s in a UP<9numbers>CN format that satisfy the UPU algorithm, but NEVER show on any tracking site. Of course the items never arrive. I get a refund, but I think the sellers are simply borrowing my money at 0% interest!
Is UP a real China Post prefix, or is it definitely fake? The latest bad #s are UP642460525CN and UP637400246CN. I understand these numbers should show up at least once on tracking sites, when they enter the China Post system. Is it true? Thanks.

U***CN is china post ordinary small packet. It can be real as long as http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php can show tracking result.

However, http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows both your tracking numbers have No shipping record. This means your seller never actually shipped anything yet. you might be scammed.

if you just got this number, You should push seller to ship the goods immediately. Tell him if you can not track real shipment data in next 3 days, you will open dispute to aliexpress/amazon/ebay/paypal against fraud.

If you have got this number for long time and paid with paypal/aliexpress, you should open dispute against fraud and claim refund.
