I am very confused with the tracking of my package.
I live in USA and the shipper told me that it was in USA customs but there is no record of it in customs as it would have been scanned.
Why is it taking so long for me to receive package?

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=RV151775762CN shows your parcel was shipped from Guangzhou to USA on Sep 13. Normally such register airmail will take 4 to 6 weeks to reach USA. It has not arrives USA yet.

Once parcel arrives USA, you can use same tracking number to see local status in usps.com.

Thank you. But why will it take 4 to 6 weeks? It says on China Post that it normally takes 2 to 4 weeks to arrive in destination country. See below
China Post Register Mail is an economical and slow shipping service. Normally it will take about 2 to 4 weeks to arrive destination country from China.

Guangzhou airport has some delay caused by Hong Kong airport strike(many parcels were transit to Guangzhou airport from Hong Kong). you need extra time than average.

Has the package left Guangzhou airport? If so, when did it leave?

RV151775762CN has no update since Sep 14. Normally this means the parcel is outside China. None will scan the parcel after parcel left China.

However, leaving China does not means your will get the parcel soon. Based on our statistics, you should get the parcel between mid of Oct to early Nov.

I still dont understand why it takes so long. If it left china 2 weeks ago, it should be received by the USPS by now.
I thought it would be scanned once it was received by the USPS.
Why does it take so long?

RV151775762CN is china post register mail which has very very low priority to be scanned and sorted in USPS and China Post system. You might need wait 10 to 20 more days to see new status.

Next time , please ask shipper use ePacket instead of such cheap register airmail.
