I ordered my package in March. The last update I got was that they were getting ready to dispatch the package, I think that update was in May. Since then I haven’t gotten update. USPS hasn’t even updated me on my package. I just want to verify that I will be getting my package. If I am getting my package, I would like an estimated arrival time if it’s possible. If not, then I understand. Please let me know. Thank you

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=LY046590051CN shows package was received Mar. 25 and is waiting for flight out since Mar. 30.

China Post 1st quarter arrival time statistics report http://track-chinapost.com/?p=976 shows that on average it takes 50 days to arrive USA, but some parcel took 115 days to arrive. Packages shipped in Mar. are still arriving, though some might already lost. If your buyer protection is expiring you might ask for extension or open dispute.

How do I go about asking for an extension? My buyer protection has expired. Also, how will I know if my package is lost or is still on the way? When the status says “preparing to dispatch Mail” how long should that exactly take? That status has shown since May.

When package left China the website will be updated. If there is no update the parcel is still stuck in China, or maybe lost. So you can open dispute or ask for extension of buyer protection. Usually AliExpress has 90 days and Paypall has 180 days buyer protection.

Will I be told if my package is lost or will it just continue to show that package is getting ready to be dispatched?

It will not be updated if package is lost. If it is far beyond the regular zone means it is lost. In anyway if you did not receive the package you can open dispute within the buyer protection period
