I have contacted my postal services.

Tracking says it has been in shanghai over a month.

What happened to LH717486149CN?

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows LH717486149CN was just shipped Shanghai to Australia on Mar 6. It is still in China

Coronavirus has cancelled more than 90% airline space to Australia. China Post has serious shipping space shortage. Not sure when it can catch flight from China. Please wait one or two more weeks to see what will happen.

After parcel arrives Australia, Australia Post website will show arrival info.

If your buyer protection is expiring, you might need to open dispute to claim your money back first. After you get the parcel in future, then pay back to seller.

Please notify here if there are any issues

Two questions:

1. is there an estimated date or maximum delay date before I get priority? Has been 6-7 weeks already how can I help faster the process.

2. Is the expedited shipping parcels also affected. I may be purchasing with expedited but if it is similarly delayed I may not.

it is very difficult to give you any prediction. Our stat report shows some lucky parcel shipped in mid of March has arrived destination in early April. while many parcel of early February are still in China. China Post has so many parcels piling up in airline warehouse, it difficult to organized them by time sequence. they just randomly assign parcels with limited available space. Catching flight is almost like lottery.

Right now you can not do anything except waiting.

Will expedited shipping get priority as usual or still lottery with normal post? (I may be buying from china that uses china post)?

the unpredictable situation is just temporarily caused by cover-19 airline cancellation. this is a very rare situation in past 30 years. In normal time, china post high priority parcel(EMS/ePacket) arrival time normally takes only one or two weeks.
