Post Question about NLpost order

Hey there.

Last week on the 12th of February i made an order and they gave me a NLpost tracking number. LX939136321NL

After 5 working days my tracking number still shows on 17track and NLposts website as not recognized or not processed yet.

When i bring this up with my vendor she is saying that it is because of delays in Shenzhen (the package went from Qingdao to Shenzhen)

A friend of mine who had their order from the same company had their tracking number activated in late January after 5 working days where it was updated with "Item is at shippers warehouse" I was informed by my friend who ordered the same thing from the same vendor using the same shipping method that China Post actually takes it to Netherlands and then NLpost takes to my country.

If after 5 days my order isn't even at the shippers warehouse in Shenzhen where could it possibly be?

My post is destined to end up in New Zealand and is going through NLpost in the Netherlands and im going crazy not knowing what is happening with my package or having a tracking number to check for status updates.

LX939136321NL has nothing to do with China Post. It looks like Netherlands Post tracking number.

Some China seller use Netherlands Post to ship battery item. The parcel should arrive Netherlands first, then transit to destination country through Netherlands Post system.

You can not see shipping record until parcel arrives Netherlands. This might take one or two more weeks.

Once it enters Netherlands Post system, you can track your parcel in Netherlands Post website.

But my friend who also bought with this company had his tracking number activated once it was scanned in shippers warehouse before it left to Netherlands. I was told by this person they use China Post ePacket to ship to Netherlands.

As I mentioned, LX939136321NL is not china post parcel number. So I cannot give you any accurate answer about such strange tracking numbers.

I suggest ask seller why the tracking number does not work as your friend's tracking number did before. If you can not get a good answer from seller, you can open dispute against fraud for refund.

I am being told its being held up in Shenzhen and hasn't been scanned yet because of the virus and delays. Could this be true?

Shenzhen has some problem with coronavirus. Many companies are required to have their 70% employee work at home to avoid virus spread and this regulation has caused many delay including China Post, DHL, UPS etc.

Again I am not sure if this is the reason of Netherlands Post delay. I am not even know if your seller's tracking number is real or fake because so far we can not verify it from Netherlands Post website. Many cheaters also use similar excuse to cheat seller's money. You need use your own experience to judge the seller's words.

Normally if your seller is from big website such as Amazon, eBay, Aliexpress, WISH ,PAYPAL etc, I will trust the seller's words because these websites have strong policy to protect buyer. Also the shop account in these big website is very valuable, it is not worth to do cheating which will cause suspensions or cancellations of their shop account.

On the other hand, if this online shop is from some no-name website which worth nothing, you should be very cautious of fraud.

I trust the company to a certain extent a friend of mine successfully ordered the correct product from them in January and he received it and i also sampled the product and it was good.

Best case scenario is that China Post is just delayed in scanning my package and i just need to wait. But i want to call them to confirm.

If you purchased from Aliexpress, then it should be ok. I suggest you keep tracking another 2 weeks and see if there will be any real shipment data in Netherlands Post website.

If you can not see real shipment data in Netherlands Post website by the end of this month, you need open dispute to aliexpress for refund.
