I am really sorry to bother any of you. But I have an issue with a package that was sent to me from the Netherlands.

The package was supposed to send to Hong Kong. But the shipper/staff in the post office made a mistake and put in "CN" rather than "HK". Then the package seems to have arrived in Shanghai on Dec 18 and has been there since.

I wonder does anyone have any experience on this? Would China Post usually forward the package to Hong Kong? Or would they return it to the sender? And in any of these cases, how long would it usually it takes before they take any actions?

I assume they would have to do something and not let the package just sit there.... Or would they? =(

Thank you for your attention. And I would really appreciate if someone can give me some insights.

CC084891851NL left Shanghai for Guangzhou on Dec 26. It seems heading to Hong Kong. I suggest you wait one or two more weeks and see what will happen. You have good chance to get it in Hong Kong.
