Post Parcel stuck in customs

I am the sender and my parcel has been held at customs for over 2 months with no new information. I contacted my local Australian Post office and there was nothing they could do as the package is with China customs now and for some reason it cannot be cleared and my receiver cannot contact them. Is there any way to get in touch or to have the package sent back to the original address?
