You need write tracking number in the question, otherwise none can help you.

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows LO814313297CN was shipped from Shanghai to Canada on Feb 28.

Coronavirus outbreak has caused serious airline space shortage (80% airline to Canada were cancelled). You need wait some more time(at least 2 to 4 more weeks).

Once parcel arrives Canada, Canada Post website will show arrival information.

but this shipped a while before the corona virus should have affected it and its been "handed over to airline" for 24 and its already past the 30 days maximum arrival time

coronavirus outbreak in china in early Jan, and China government started cancellation of airline since Jan 23,2020.Your parcel was shipped in a very bad time. "sent to airline" only means the parcel was given to airline warehouse and start to wait for space, it is far from catching a flight to Canada.
