Good afternoon,

we have received a shippment from China with a tracking number RV289431778CN. We have received a letter from customs that we have to declare the items in the parcel, but there is no information about the sender (the company), so we do not now what are the items to declare.

Would it be possible to receive the name of the sender from a tracking number RV289431778CN ?

you can not know who is the sender from tracking number. If the parcel is a purchased item of you, you need contact seller and ask who is the sender.
