It all depends on the local delivery policy of South Africa Post office in your area. You need to check with the local post office.

Reminder: South Africa Post work ethic reputation is not good. They often delay and lost parcel. So you need to keep your eye open. Once the South Africa Post web page shows it arrives in your area, you need contact them for delivery or local pickup asap.
