Hi,

I have a parcel deliver to china but the item is damage already. Is it possible for me to seek compensation from chinapost? The parcel deliver from my side is still in good condition.

China Post can only compensate to seller(shipper), you need open dispute to seller to claim compensation, and then seller will claim compensation from China Post.

You no need care if or when seller has raised compensation or not. You just open dispute to seller for compensation.

The seller mention they contact the chinapost already and they're told that i should be raising dispute since i'm the one sending the parcels over. Is there any ways for me to contact the chinapost? I don't want be calling overseas just for this even though i can speak mandarin.

Again, you NO need contact China Post. just open dispute to seller to claim refund. it is seller's job to contact China Post not you.

i didn't google translate it. That's the same reply i got from the taobao seller. I still have the chat conversation with me.

Since i'm the one sending the parcel over to china for repair & refund, what do i need to inform the seller to do on their side?

If you are sender, your parcel is lost or damaged. You need claim compensation from your local post.
