Once the item arrives in China, China Post will send a text message to recipient's mobile phone number(it is very important to have recipient's mobile number in the parcel), then recipient can make online customs clearance with the passcode in the text message.

Remember, recipient's mobile phone number is much more important than address. Without the number, China Post can not make delivery.
