Dear China Post Team,

May I know when will the freight cost be back to normal again? Because I know in midst of Covid-19, the freight cost is very expensive.

Actually China Post does not increase freight cost. DHL has increased their freight. The problem is that China Post has no shipping space because 90% international passenger airlines are cancelled(Most China Post shipping space comes from passenger airlines). So China Post parcels are suffering serious delay.

DHL, on the other hand, has their own cargo aircraft fleet. So their business becomes extremely busy. that is why they increase freight. I believe the situation will last until the covid-19 ends and international passenger airline back to normal.

Thank you for your kind response.
Well noted that China Post have not been imposing a surcharge on the freight costs. So the velocity of the goods deliveries rely solely on the passenger airlines. This is very informative.
