Hello, I'm having concerns about my tracking status. The tracking number is LO843796098CN. It has been in transit for 24 days and hasn't left Guangzhou yet. Thank you

LO843796098CN was keep rejected by Guangzhou airport safety check point. What is the item inside?

Speaker has magnet inside and often rejected by airport safety check point. China Post normally does not recommend user ship magnet item. I suggest you open dispute to PayPal for refund.

And also why would it say it was in transit to Madrid more than a week after the security check status?

your parcel is still in Guangzhou waiting for next scan.

Once it passes scan and catches flight to Spain, Correos Spain website will show arrival information. You need some patient to wait update.

Ok but now I'm confused. You say it will be delivered or it hasn't passed the security check? If it's waiting for a flight, should I still request a refund? I don't fully understand

You can not know exact situation at this moment because status has not been updated yet.
Two possible situations for your parcel:

1)Your parcel has not even scanned by Guangzhou airport safety check point yet. After Guangzhou airport scanned the parcel. If the parcel is rejected, China Post will show Reject information in tracking update result. But if it has passed safety scan, there will be NO update. parcel will be sent to airline waiting area for space to Spain.

2)your parcel has passed safety check , but has not got airline space to Spain. After parcel catches space and arrives Spain, Correos Spain will update its new location in spain.

Since you have not got reject information from Guangzhou airport, nor arrival information from Correos Spain, you can not know what is the exact status of your parcel at this moment.

Unfortunately such uncertain status might last quite long time (2 to 8 weeks in such virus season). So if your buyer protection is expiring, I suggest you open dispute to claim your money back first. After it arrives Spain, then pay back to your seller.
