A few days ago the tracking system indicated package LT581326105CN was shipped on the December 12th and turned over to the USPS post office on the 15th. USPS (vis the global tracking link) indicates they received notification but so far no package.

Today the tracking system is saying LT581326105CN is an invalid tracking number, as if the vendor did not actually ship. Do you have any additional info?

The seller seems to be out of business, attempts to contact him fail.

Perhaps this is one of those fake tracking number scams, but why would a notification be sent to the USPS if the package was not in the hands of China post?

Just want to confirm I'm reading the tracking system right, and if there is any more tracking details before I make a claim.

1. This is the tracking of your parcel from the China Post EMS site:

2016-12-17 00: 00: 00.0 03:19:07 Fuzhou City to leave the processing center, sent to USJFKF = ISC NEW YORK NY (USPS)

2. You just need to continue to track your parcel on the USPS site for any new movement.

2. I think what you are trying to say to me is that USPS has not yet scan your parcel!!!!!

3. Because there is no flight number (China to USA), neither you and I can say where is your parcel right now. Still in China, in the air or in USA.

4. But one thing is for sure that USPS did not scan your parcel yet. When they do the tracking will start not before that.

Thanks, very helpful. I typed seen, but meant scan. Thats what I was thinking, but today the Chinapost tracking site is telling me that LT581326105CN is an invalid package number. That is what is confusing me.

Your system is still giving you information consistent with what I saw last week. I'll just wait a few more days and try again.
