Post Where is my package 89696462207?

The parcel was sent on 25th August. After 5 days, it finally displayed that it has been sent. The last update was on 29th August, it's in South China Sea. For 9 days now it has been there! Is there any progress with this package and when should the receiver expect it? Tracking number 89696462207

this kind of 11 digit number like 89696462207 is china post ordinary parcel. This is a slow and cheap service for low value item. China Post will not scan and update its status after it left first post office. so you can not see new status and know where it is now. china post ordinary parcel might take 4 to 12 weeks to reach your country.

Thanks for that. That explains why is so slow. But is there any way to track and see where is it now?

you can not know where it is . After it left first post office, none can know its location.

http://track-chinapost.com/track_global.php shows the parcel just arrived Greece but failed delivery. It is now in the hand of Greece Post. You need contact your local post office and pickup the parcel.

After 4 months it should be lost :( Open a dispute with your seller for non-delivery and claim a refund.

That is not good enough. It is China Post's responsibility to deliver. It's not fair. That's why you are paid, right?! How can it get lost?! It wasn't a tiny grain of salt in the package, but a pair of shoes! Therefore it wasn't a small package. You'll be getting a negative feedback ;(
