Hi.
I've ordered a parcel from Aliexpress and till now things went smoothly, luckily. However, the last update said that the parcel was leaving Shangai airport. I don't understand if it means that the parcel was sent to another airport in China for some reason or that the airplane set off.
Thanks for you answer. Best.

Yes, the tracking information that China Post issues for registered items tends to be a little unclear on this point:

2015-11-07 06:49:00.0 arrive Shanghai Int'l Airport
2015-11-07 07:06:06.0 leaving Shanghai Int'l Airport going to next airport/seaport

Usually, though, if an entry says "departure" or "leaving xxx airport...", doesn't also say "domestic transit" (Chinese: 国内经转), and seems to "freeze" at that place for more than a few days, it means that the item has left the country.

In the case of your item, too, it has followed a series of steps that's very typical for parcels to take when they leave China. I'm fairly sure it has departed for the destination country.

Thanks for you answer. Best.

Not at all :)

No worries. I think many of the volunteers who help people here just read the newest posts across all forums anyway. :)

Thank you very much. How many weeks does it usually take to reach Italy? Two?

You're welcome! :)
The "estimate arrival" link up near the top of the page has statistics for how long it takes to various countries on average. For Italy, the average is 17 days, and the longest time seen so far is 28. Things might start to slow a little as we get nearer to Christmas.
