I paid a lot of money to have something shipped to me through EMS. It took 19 days from leaving China and coming to Canada. Once it was in Canada the shipment moved quickly. My company was using this product for a promotional that we needed sent out before the end of September and had to purchase something new to make up for the lost items. We paid a lot of money to have the items shipped to us and now they are useless and sitting in storage.

First of all are there any guarantee delivery times between China and Canada.

Secondly is there anything I can do to get a refund from EMS China for their mess up?

The supplier stated that he put in a complaint but the China mail service told them that we received the goods so too bad.

We had 10 boxes delivered and 8/10 of them arrived on time. 2 of them showed up 2 weeks after the other ones.

I understand that the supplier must be the one to make the complaint, but i dont see why they have any incentive to push it more than making a service ticket and getting an answer.

Any guidance about how to get a refund for this situation would be greatly appreciated.

The shipper stated they filed a complaint with China Post and that China Post stated that since it was delivered they did their job. The shipper won't pay me if they don't think they will be paid.

Am I wrong to think that China Post messed up here and owes compensation?
