Post What happens if you miss the delivery in China?

Hi I sent an item to my friend in Beijing China and I’m in the U.K. today they attempted to deliver it to her apartment and she was at work and on the tracking it said delivery attempt failed because no one was home of course. How does it work do they try again the next day? Do they leave it at the post office for collection? or return it? as I need to know. You can check this on tracking they attempted to deliver it once and it was today and it was unsuccessful because no one was home.

If anyone has any knowledge about this could you tell me please I would appreciate it. Tracking: RZ121996601GB

you need ask receiver call china post hotline 11185 and try to pickup the parcel from China post office in 通州区梨园投递组
