Hello, my package has been stuck at customs since 15th of April and there is no update. The track and trace is CY734033157DE and the last status is “Item presented to import Customs”.
Why is there no update?
Has the recipient been asked for customs clearance?

if you have written the recipient's mobile phone number in the parcel, recipient will get a customs clearance code by text message from China Post once it arrives in destination post office. Recipient can make customs clearance online and then China Post will call the recipient to make delivery.

If your recipient tells you that he has not got any text message from China Post, normally this means :
1)Shipper didn't write receiver's mobile phone number in the parcel
or
2) The recipient does not want to make customs clearance and accept your parcel .

I need your help again.
The package has not moved since 04/16/2026. How do I get information about why the package is stuck at customs and whether I still have to submit any documents? Recipient's mobile phone number is on the package!

If recipient doesn't want to accept the parcel and doesn't make customs clearance, China Post will return the item to Germany after the free storage time ends.

If this is your case, you need to file dispute to your marketplace(Aliexpress, Amazon, TEMU etc), tell them that seller doesn't make customs clearance even if the item has arrived in China customs. The Marketplace will help you to get money back.
