Post Package at ZOBL09 for almost 4 weeks

Hello,
I ordered a die-cast SU-35 airplane model and it was shipped on 12-05-2020 with China Post Registered Air Mail. The tracking info shows it was shipped by train and arrived at ZOBL09 on 15-06-2020, that was the last status update. The local post service claims that they don’t know anything about the package, the tracking on the AliExpress app says “ ZOBL09 Arrived at destination country”. It’s being shipped to the Netherlands. The tracking code is RE072034879CN

RE072034879CN is in Vilnius,Lithuania.

Vilnius,Lithuania is the first EU entrance railway hub. Many parcels will stay there for 2 to 3 weeks waiting for EU customs inspection and then transit to destination countries by other land vehicles.

Your parcel is a little bit delayed in Vilnius,Lithuania, Based on our stat, the parcel will arrive UK between Jul 15 to Jul 30.

Once parcel arrives UK, http://track-chinapost.com/startukpost.php will show UK arrival info.

It’s being shipped to the Netherlands, I’m assuming the shipping time wil be similar?
I noticed a lot of packages are stuck in Lithuania, is the reason for this the Corona virus? Also why is a China Post Registered Air Mail being shipped by train? Shouldn’t it be shipped by airplane?

Hi, tracking doesn’t show departure from Vilnius so your package is probably just a few days away from you. It is true that flights are to be used, but due to the virus they have sent many packages by train rather than have these packages wait for available flights
