Hi,

I have a package being sent to Australia from China, the tracking number is: LO796500438CN

Currently it has had the status "Despatch from Sorting Center" for the past 5 days and there have been no updates since this point.

I am unsure what the status of my package is, is it still on the way? thanks for your help.

Best regards.

now china is still suffering coronavirus outbreak. Many airlines to Australia are cancelled. China Post has not enough shipping space and human resource to handle ePacket parcel to Australia. Please wait 2 to 4 more weeks. The parcel will catch flight space to Australia once China is back to normal.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply, I definitely understand the situation which is occuring in China at the moment; however my issue is that the package is apparently still in transit between locations and still hasnt arrived at customs or even its next waypoint

e.g
February 21
08:22
In transit - Departed waypoint
In Guangzhou City
February 21
01:28
In transit - Arrived at the waypoint
Guangzhou International Mail Processing Center

Based on that I am unsure what its current status is as the package does not seem to be awaiting a flight but rather stuck in the back of a truck and has not been updated to its next destination?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer,

best regards.

Coronavirus forced many workers staying in their hometown and can not go to major cities to work. Therefore, China post has very limited human resource to handled so many parcels.

To save labor, china post now often sent the parcel to airline and export customs, but does not scan and update the status.

your parcel should be ok, you just need some patient.

It has now been a total of 14 days in transit with absolutely no updates, where is my package? why have there been no updates? I have no idea if its actually being delivered other than the suggestion that it might possibly maybe safe and on its way...
