Hello

My package showed a ‘dispatch from outward office of exchange’ on the 16th September and then again on the 18th September — I am confused how an item can be dispatched out of the country on 2 separate dates?
Can you clarify please?

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=LL723968406CN shows the parcel was just sent to airline warehouse on Sep 18. It should take 10 to 20 days to reach Sydney. please be patient.

That link shows ‘dispatch outwards office of exchange’ for both the 16th and the 18th - I can’t see any mention of a wharehouse

I’m not being impatient - I’m just confused as to how it can show to different dates for dispatch?

First dispatch to airline warehouse on Sep 16 failed. Then china post made 2nd dispatch on Sep 18. So far no update mean the dispatch should be ok.

Ah — ok that explains that I guess - thanks

I’ve never had anything take 10-20 days - it’s usually 5-7 days tops & haven’t experienced this either but I appreciate your update -

As there has been no update since 18/9 does that mean it isn’t on its way to Aus as the tracking says but still in China?

Sorry to be a pain — When I made the order of n 12/9 I explained to the vendor that I am flying our of state on Tuesday 24th for a week or so & he was very firm that parcel would be here before then — that looks very unlikely unless the tracking on Wednesday that states it had left China is correct — I’m just trying to figure out if I need to have it re-directed or something.

no news means good news. Normally this means the parcel is outside China and none can update its status anymore.

normally parcel will travel another 10 to 20 days to pass Australia customs and sorted by AusPost. Once AusPost scans the parcel, you will see new update in Australia Post website. Please be patient.

Out of China is great — I am not impatient - just trying to figure out if I need to redirect it as I’m going interstate tomorrow
