Post Parcel returned to sender before leaving China??

Hi, I sent a parcel from Shanghai to Australia. The tracking shows it got to customs and then has been collected, but it's not clear who it was collected by or where it is. The return address on the parcel was the hotel in Shanghai and they say it never came to them. What should i do? The parcel was full of gifts for my family :(

CP440393743CN was returned to shipper on Mar 1st. The postman phone number is 19901871607.

As delivery has passed for 3 weeks. Not sure if you can get delivery detail or not. But it deservers to call the postman and make a try.

I'm in Australia and don't speak Mandarin %*&#. I might try the hotel again

The hotel say they can't find the package but can't confirm whether it got back to them or not. Is it likely they would have gotten it and re-posted it?
