Post USPS- First Class International Where is package? How to update tracking?

I have purchased USPS First Class International to ship my item to China. The person at USPS informed me that there is tracking on this shipment however, I called USPS since there was no update on the tracking and they told me that there is only tracking in the US and there will not be any tracking in China. I got absolutely screwed by USPS. The tracking number is RH000606815US. Are there any methods to keep getting tracking once the item goes to China? USPS told me to call China Post to see if anything can be done. This is for a refund for an item. The seller is extremely non responsive or non helpful. If there is no tracking can't the seller claim he never received the item and the only person screwed would be me.

U should read:

I shipped a parcel from USA to China, how can I know the delivery status?


Your item might be ordinary registered mail which is trackeable in china.

Your item might be ordinary registered mail which is trackeable in china.

the package was registered. I think the person I contacted did not know that information. If it is registered maybe it will be tracked even in China which is good to hear. However, I am unable to access the tracking information while the USPS employee is able to track it. They told me that the package is in customs in NY. Will I be able to track the package once it leaves customs? When I tracked it via USPS it gives me: USPS Tracking® is unavailable for this product for CHINA. By the way thank you so much for your help.

If u just mailed it, it is common for no details to appear yet. Usually it takes about 2-3 days for that.

It's been 4 business days and 6 regular days. They did tell me it does take ~10 days for it to ship. I guess I'll just wait patiently now. I was just really nervous because the seller is very unprofessional and shady which scares me. It's a refund of over $100. Thank you so much for your help.

U can already track your parcel at china post website:
http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php
However, usps tracking is useless or non existent for this item!
I can see your item left usa via los angeles, not new york which was what the usps guy claimed. And your item also just arrived in beijing today july 20.
