Post Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

My tracking number is RC332491180CN

China tracking shows PVG NULL for this package and the USPS shows Origin Post is Preparing Shipment. It has not changed at all for 5 days, is the tracking number not working or is my package just sitting at the Chinese airport? Also how will I know when it arrives in the US.

you'd better track it in http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php, if it shows the parcel was "sent to airline",normally it will arrive USA within 2 to 3 weeks.
