Post No Updates For Almost 10 days

Hi,

My tracking number LY778509308CN was ordered three weeks ago and has not updated since it says it was being sent to JFK in NY over a week ago. No notice of arrival, no notice that it's in import customs...just nothing. I'm also suspicious because other orders I've had from ChinaPost have always come through Los Angeles, not New York. I something wrong with my shipment?

Also, is there a delay currently because of the Chinese holiday two weeks ago? I have a few shipments that are not going anywhere and wondering if there was a flood of exports or something that is holding everything up.

http://track-chinapost.com/result_global.php?code=LY778509308CN shows the parcel was just shipped on Oct 6. Next station will be JFK airport. You can not see new status until US custom in JFK releases the parcel to USPS. The waiting period for this stage might take 10 to 20 days.

Thanks, I will wait another ten days or so to see. I had thought that maybe things were getting faster since the other two ChinaPost parcels I had were delivered after about 8-10 days. I must have just been lucky on those. This one will be over a month before I see it at this rate.
