Post is LM976721489CN fake?

Hi, I have ordered an item through a website jacketsclasses.com on Nov. 22, 2015. I have received a number LM976721489CN and a note "Delivered" on Nov. 24, 2015. There is neither phone number nor a post office name for the delivery. By the two last letters of the number (CN) I can see it is from China. Can it be fake?

Thank you for your reply. Having said this, does it mean that my item will still be sent, or is the whole deal fake (usually in such cases)? I mean, what should I expect, or is it normal to give an item a fake number, and send it after?

This is what I have read on Track-ChinaPost.com website:

China Post tracking number has standard formats as following:
format 1: the number starts with “R” and ends with “CN”, i.e. RR123456789CN, RI987654321CN
This is China Post registered airmail. Normally it will arrive destination in 2 to 8 weeks.

format 2: the number starts with “CP” and ends with “CN”, i.e. CP123456789CN
This is China Post registered surface mail. Normally it is much slower than airmail and might take up to 6 months to arrive.

format 3: the number starts with “E” and ends with “CN”, i.e. EE123456789CN, EA987654321CN
This is China Post Express Post Service(EMS). Normally it is much faster than airmail and might take one to four weeks to arrive. The price is also much higher than airmail.

format 4: the number starts with “L” and ends with “CN”, i.e. LK123456789CN, LN987654321CN,LM123456789CN,
This is China Post ePacket parcel. It is almost as faster as EMS and only a little bit more expensive than airmail.
However, ePacket service is only available to limited countries such as USA, Canada, Australia,UK etc.

My tracking number starts with "LM", and I am in Canada, which means, this is a format 4 number, a China Post ePacket parcel. How can it be fake?

Thank you again!

Everyone can apply a china post tracking number label with a software. Having a tracking number does not mean the parcel is really shipped. Only when seller attaches the number label to a parcel and gives it to China post, then the parcel is really shipped.
