I have a parcel shipping from China to Canada.
It was shipped in China on June 1 2017 and according to tracking, it possibly left China for Canada on June 4 2017.

Here's the tracking number: RM905827230CN

Here is the tracking info I have from June 1st - 4th.

Destination Country: Canada

I was just wondering if anyone knows its current status. Because as mentioned, it was shipped on June 1st and I still have not received it.

RM905827230CN is on the way to Canada. The parcel is still in normal time frame. Canada Post import processing is very very slow. Many china post register mail parcels needs about 30 to 80 days to get released from Canada Post import sorting warehouse.

Next time I suggest you ask seller to ship the goods by ePacket which is much faster. ePacket tracking number starts with L not R.

Update: I actually finally received the item on July 13.

Just a note to Canadians or anyone with access to the Canada Post app.

As you know, Canada a Post no longer tracks inbound international packages. However, I had the Canada Post APP on my phone and as soon as the package left customs, I started to receive tracking notifications from the APP to my phone.

The strange thing is that the notifications never showed up in the APP itself, but rather just as a notification on my phone and the notification showed that it was related to the app. When I tapped on the notification, the APP will open but nothing would show up.

This has never happened before, but then again I have not received a lot of parcels starting with R (registered inbound international mail) so this might have been a one time glitch.

But getting the Canada Post app is worth a try to see if you can track this kind of mail through your phone's notifications.
