Post Delivery Failed #CH039161556US

Package arrived in Shanghai on 28 March. Delivery was apparently attempted many times to an incorrect address until 18 April. Package returned to USA from Shanghai 21 April. Current location of package unknown. It took only four days to move from the US to Shanghai. Tracking number CH039161556US.

Where did the package go, please?

normally such parcel will be returned to USA. However, it might also be discarded if the return address is not clear. You ask receiver call china post for detail. You can also file investigation with USPS.

I am the receiver, or was intended to be. The tracking system shows that the package departed Shanghai, but there's no other information available on either end. I have contacted the USPS.

The really frustrating part of this is that I discovered the problem before the package was sent back to the States. When I contacted China Post, they refused to do anything. I even offered to pay for the extra handling.

If the package were discarded, where might it have ended up?

Silly me. I thought that jumping through hoops to register for this forum would put me in contact with someone paid to actually care about the issue and help the customer. Oh, well.

Is there anyone at China Post who can tell me where my package is? The address label was correct, but your delivery person failed to find me 18 times. Where is my package?
