Post China-to-Canada ePacket Route Question

Why is it that some of my ePacket shipments from China to Toronto Canada, arrive in Canada via Vancouver (other end of country from Toronto but closest port to China, so obviously arriving via container ship) while others arrive in Canada via Mississauga (suburb of Toronto that has Pearson International Airport so obviously arrives via plane) ??

It goes without saying that Mississauga (plane) shipments arrive much faster than the Vancouver shipments that still have to cross the country via truck after clearing customs.

I would like to have all of my ePacket shipments arrive via plane (of course) but I don't understand why the differing routes.

If anyone knowledgeable in ePacket shipping can help I would greatly appreciate your assistance !!

From China to Toronto has limited airline space. Sometimes airline space to Toronto is full, then China Post has to send Canada Parcel to Vancouver airport(which has much more arrival airlines than Toronto) otherwise you will wait even longer time.

So far it says it left China on the 16th and then again on the 23rd.
Now it's March 1st and still no updates on whether it actually left China, or it's still sitting there in a warehouse.
Usually ePacket gets here in 14-21 days, but this parcel is waaaaay out of whack!!
