Hiya! I'm no stranger to China Post and the Chinese couriers like Winit/Flyt, I know the standard tracking numbers that China Post gives out and what not. But today I was given a strange one, starting with UE: is this like Small Packet Plus (I believe it was called that), or more like Registered, albeit U meaning "Untrackable"? I know of UM/UA for quasi-trackable airmail from America to Canada, so therefore I ask, is UE the same thing? I ask this because I've been ordering stuff from China since the 90's and I've never seen a tracking number from China Post that starts with a U! This is strange to me, usually I get Small Packet Plus or Registered from y'all, not the U stuff (that I've been getting from America since 2017 or so...)

UE126505975CN is china post ordinary parcel. you can track its shipment effect date and original post office in http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php .

This is a slow and cheap service for low value item. China Post will not scan and update its status after it left first post office. so you can not see new status and know where it is now. china post ordinary parcel might take 4 to 12 weeks to reach your country.

P.S. http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows "shipping notice received from seller(EBAY平台)", this means your seller applied a tracking number through ebay,but has not actually shipped anything yet. You should push seller to ship goods immediately.

My parcel shows flight depart in Beijing about 2 months. any one help me my item lost in transit or rejected by Chinese custom please. tracking is CJ543921932US.

Hi again! :) Another question for you my good sir (chinapostvolunteer): My parcel has been shipped to China Post in Shanghai, usually it's Guangzhou, Shenzhen (apologies if they are not spelled correctly) or to Hong Kong. This is the first time in a very long time that I got a parcel in Shanghai! Anyway, the latest message for the tracking is "Consignment Booked", meaning it's about to be boarded to cargo freight craft crossing the Pacific or to either Incheon (to then be transferred to Vancouver/Richmond), or a few times direct times to Vancouver from HK. Anyway, this being Shanghai, I noticed this is likely to be boarding a cargo freight crossing the Pacific, due to the lack of Airplane Flight ID (I like tracking plane shipments & Cargo shipments!). If this is true, I have several sub-questions to add: If freight by sea, will it take 7-15 days to cross the Pacific (weather bring a major factor), or a tad longer? Also, is the cargo freight trackable? Anyway Customs in Vancouver I will not worry about at all, they are slow as mollasses for cheap parcels (until the CP CEO resigns on March 30 (iirc)), but now I'm confused slightly about this. I have a feeling that it's sea freight due to the lack of Flight/Plane ID, and time & date stating for it travelling to said destination.

if your parcel number starts with CP and weight over 2kgs, it will go through sea. Otherwise it will go through air. If airline space is in shortage, it will wait in airline warehouse until there is flight space. In regular season except Nov and Dec, normally parcel can catch flight from china to canada in 10 to 15 days. The biggest delay is in Canada customs not in airline.
