Post What does "going to next airport/seaport" mean?

Hi there,

I'm just curious how to interpret the last status of my parcel out of China to Austria RF536823492CN:

2017-02-14 22:35:56.0 leaving Beijing Airport going to next airport/seaport

I can track it with my local Postal Service as well, there it only shows "accepted by carrier 2017-02-08" and "ready for foreign transport" at the 14th.

Again, I'm not worried, I just want to know if the parcel has actually left China yet or is it still sitting at the airport trying to catch a plane and there will be another update like "Beijing departure"?

Cheers

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows " leaving Beijing Airport going to next airport/seaport". "Next airport" can be either a China airport, or a transit airport between China and your country(parcel might transit through many countries before arriving destination). There is very little chance to catch direct flight to your country.

Thanks, figured as much. That means it's either still in Beijing or unscanned at the first stop along the way. Definitely not in Europe, it would've been scanned somewhere in the last 5 days.

Hi,
I have the same problem. My Order's status hasn't changed in more than 2 months (since Dec. 16, 2016). I suspect it's lost somewhere. My order's tracking number is RJ924926337CN .

RJ924926337CN is more likely to be delayed than lost. Many parcels shipped in Nov just arrived.

I understand, but the order delivery time was already once extended with 30 days (and now they are going to expire). I am not sure that my parcel will arrive on time, even if I extend with another 30 days . Probably the best option is just to open a dispute.

1. Then just contact seller or open a dispute to get your money back.

Thanks.

I am waiting for and hoping to receive an item purchased on Ebay from a seller residing in China. It was later determined the listing and/or the seller had been removed. I'm not sure why. Ebay issued a statement for those who have already paid, expect to receive the item as described in the listing by the seller. Ok, so it's been a month and I've waiting longer in the past without worrying, but in this instance, I'm concerned in general because of the irregularities that had taken place. These kind of tracking numbers (11 digits) are China Post Ordinary Airmail; they can't be tracked outside of China. Your item left Guangzhou for Los Angeles on 22 Dec; it could take 30-60 days to reach you in the USA.
