the parcel should be delayed or lost in Chongqing. As your seller seems not willing to help you to contact China Post. you should open dispute for refund(if you paid with paypal or alipay).

Thanks! Indeed seems like lost or delayed, but policies for Gearbest states I need to wait for 60 working days before being able to actually claim nothing, so not much else I can do (rules are rules).

I've messaged them again, however, as I'm almost sure if they ask for the package in China Post they'd figure out something wrong happened with it. Let's see...

Question for the topicstarter, how long did it take for your tracking code to work?

Its been 14 days and mine still doesnt work

In the case of China Post, once they actually receive the parcel, the tracking code will start working within 48 hours.

I made the order on 29th December, and the tracking started on 01-01-18 as you can see up there, so yeah, 24/48h after shipment has been made.

In other shipments I had this issue of it being stuck, but wouldn't last longer than 2 weeks, 3 at most without any updates, then usually one of the carriers does the update and you get the whole track in once instead of "real-time".

But with this one I assume something is wrong because is the first time where I see nothing happening for over a month. Specially since my friend bought the same product, same shipping method after myself and got his already...
