Post Why item ship from China having Singapore tracking number ?

Hi,

I placed an order and made payment on 9th May, this bad merchant keep delaying me until she finally gave me a tracking number RF395345461SG but why shipment from China to Singapore tracking number ending with SG instead of CN ?

I tracked it at many site all giving "Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article),-,2016-06-03 21:47"

I think she simply trying to delay me further by providing an invalid tracking number.

Can you advise ?

many china sellers use Singapore Post agent to ship some item which are not accepted by China Post(battery item etc). The parcel will transit from China to Singapore first, then given to Singapore Post(tracking result will be invalid before parcel enters Singapore, this might take about one or two weeks after you get tracking number in China).

Some people use Netherlands Post, Swiss Post and Sweden Post to ship battery item, the procedures are similar.

Hi Chinapostvolunteer,

Thank you for your prompt reply, so this is normal ? I bought the same thing but others merchant has no issue issuing me tracking number from China Post. I shall wait for 2 weeks and post again if I have problem.

Hi,

From my own experience, shipments using Singapore Post has been the best. No problem at all. And you may receive your shipments very-very soon. Approximately 2 weeks from the date purchased (not date ships).

Hi Fadzlan,

Did you buy items from China shipped to Singapore too ? The merchant shipped it last Friday until today no activity yet and the merchant stop responding to me. Tracking still showing:
"Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article),-,2016-06-03 21:47"

Hi Tony,

I bought t-shirts from AliExpress. The sellers are located in Mainland China but uses Singapore Post. Here are 2 of my recent purchases - RB067025636SG and RB067938117SG. It can now be traced from the POS Malaysia website (as always been the case).

Since Singapore and Malaysia is not that far, I would say that the ETA of your packages should be the same as mine. Around 2 weeks after you made your purchases.

Your shipments should be okay, no worries. Singapore Post has always been efficient.
