Hello,
I was traveling in China in November and have sent myself a package. The package was sent from Kunming Post office Beijing 225 to Stavanger, Norway. Tracking number CP333599642CN. According to tracking status the package was rejected by customer service. But where is the package now? I have sent only my personal belonings like clothes and some souvenirs.

Thanks for your reply. I have some more questions:

1. Can you please check why the parcel was rejected? We have shown all the items what we send to the post office worker and he approved them. So we are not sure why the parcel didn't pass custom control.

2. We paid quite big sum of money for sending our parcel - around 900 yuan. Will it be compensated somehow if parcel didn't reach its destination?

3. How long will the post office in Kunming keep our parcel? I don't live in China and will ask a friend of mine to help me with getting the parcel and sending it again. Would it be OK if she comes to the post office with a copy of my passport?

I think point 3 deserves a try . Ask your friend go Kunming Post office Beijing 225 and see if they can find the parcel. If you are lucky, maybe your friend will pickup the parcel for you. Not sure about compensation, but you can ask your friend inquiry detail.
