I purchased something from AliExpress and on the date, 15th September 2015 it said "leaving gaunzhou airport" and I am very worried about my parcel because I'm sure it doesn't take 8 days to stay on transit.

Unfortunately, it does take longer than 8 days in transit on average. The median to the UK is 12 days and the longest on record is 40:

With any luck it should show up in the Royal Mail's system within the next 7-10 days and be delivered shortly thereafter, though again, it could be longer.

Unfortunately, there's no way to know exactly...and the parcel won't be scanned again until it reaches the UK:

How long will China Post parcel arrive my country? How long will my tracking status be updated?

How to estimate China Post parcel arrival time?

How am I suppose to know it's been scanned the tracking information does not get updated regularly.

It's generally in a sealed mailbag or shipping container while it's in transit from China to the UK. Nobody could scan it even if they wanted to.

I need to know where my parcel is I'm so worried

Don't worry. Worrying won't get it to the UK any faster. :)

In all seriousness, airmail has a lot of variance in transit time, as you can see here: http://track-chinapost.com/China_Post_Arrival_Time_Stat.php
If that much uncertainty in delivery time is making you anxious, you might consider paying extra for a service that's faster and more frequently scanned (like EMS), just for the sake of your peace of mind.
