Hi,

It seems the last 5 update are same and there is no change in that it is destined for India but seems to be stuck in Shanghai.

Is it normal or should I raise some query with seller?

looping in shanghai normally means the parcel can not pass safety or customs scan. you should open dispute to seller.

But it is just a Elastic Stretch cord for bracelets.

I don't know what could be the safety issue in that for customs.

Sometimes customs officer might reject goods by mistake. It is common. If this happens to you, you need open dispute to seller and claim refund. seller can also claim compensation from china post.
