Post Waiting for airspace?

My package EA328853792CN shows processed through Guangzhou about a week ago, but no updates since. Do you know if it is still waiting to leave China? I think it is, but can’t be sure.

http://track-chinapost.com/result_ems.php?code=EA328853792CNVshows the parcel was shipped on AUG 1. It is waiting for flight space from china to USA. waiting time can take 7 to 20 days. There will be no update during waiting time.
Everything looks normal, no need worry.

Thank you. Is this only affecting the Chicago customs hub? Seems like it. People on the west and east coast are getting their packages delivered— do you know why these packages are still waiting for flight space?

The typhoons grounded a lot of flights and so unfortunately many people are still waiting on mail from way back in June. At this point it's likely a combination of the backlog and still prioritizing Express mail packages so packages in lower tiers are just sitting there indefinitely. Even Express mail is taking longer than it should. I've seen many reports here that people should just declare there packages as lost at this point which makes me wonder if it's an issue more than just grounded flights and perhaps there was legitimate damage?

I finally got an update on usps that my package is in Chicago! I purchased 6/30. Shipped 7/6. Made it to Guangzhou 7/7. No updates until last night. I'm just glad it's finally in usps hands, and I'll never have to deal with China Post again! Hallelujah.

People who have had their items shipped after me have already gotten theirs in 3-4 days, so it’s frustrating...I will reach out to the sender. Maybe they can advise.
