Ordered a few pieces lithium-ion batteries (18650) which are in plastic protective case.

The tracking # given is RQ129058999MY. At first I thought it was POS Malaysia (not found), which is incorrect.

But after manually selecting carrier type to FLYT Express, now it shows correct info. (using http://www.track-chinapost.com and then change the carrier manually to FLYT). Or http://www.flytexpress.com/Tracking/PackageTracking_En.aspx?trackingNumber=RQ129058999MY

It shows the following:

Origin Country - Cache Time: 2017-09-05 14:39
2017-08-20 08:16 Flyt Express's sorting centre, Hong Kong, Item in transit
2017-08-20 02:15 Flyt Express's sorting centre, Guangzhou, Item dispatched. PKG#:PKG04121857
2017-08-19 15:14 Flyt Express's sorting centre, Guangzhou, Item in transit
2017-08-19 14:14 Flyt Express's sorting centre, Guangzhou, Item received

There's no other update anymore ever since.

It's just 6 pieces of 18650 batteries that are in protective plastic cases. Is it due to lithium-ion batteries are not allowed on air parcel? If that's the case, any idea what could have happened -- no updated information... Destination country is Philippines.

the parcel should be ok. They are shipped with Malaysia post which is flexible with battery item in most of cases. wait another 2 to 3 weeks, it should arrive your country.

I'll just give a quick update for this tracking number (FLYT Express / Malaysia Post) of mine.

The package didn't arrive (it's now over 30 days), and no tracking update other than the first which seems to indicate it was shipped. I raised this issue to the seller, and at first the seller says to resend the parcel, but the next day, seller says that no shipping method is currently available for sending the parcel ("18650" lithium-ion batteries), and has agreed to do a refund instead. Still waiting for the refund.

It seems that there are very few shipping methods that allow shipping of 18650 (lithium-ion) batteries now... 8-( Whereas last month, the said batteries have an available shipping method to the Philippines, now the item description on the seller's site has been changed to indicate "cannot ship to your location".

So it seems like Malaysia Post does *NOT* allow shipping of batteries anymore...
