http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows both parcels were sent to airline in May. Normally they will wait about 2 to 4 weeks to catch flight to South Africa after sent to airline, then wait another 4 to 8 weeks to pass South Africa customs processing. total time can take 4 to 12 weeks.

I suggest you do nothing just wait. South Africa customs will not give you any useful information.

Hi it has been more then 8 weeks now and the bags last destination is still not updated. Can you please just find out for me if they are still with you or already in South Africa.

8 weeks is still in normal time frame. total time can take 4 to 12 weeks

there will be no update until parcel pass South Africa customs processing. you need wait some more time(from china to your hand total might take 12 weeks).
