I am expecting a parcel sent from the UK to me in Hong Kong. For some reason the package is passing through Beijing in transit, and what's more it then appears to be stuck in an endless loop of passing through customs, "returned", being handed over to the airline, and then repeat again.

Does anyone have any similar experience? Whom can I try to contact at China Post to try to figure out what is happening? Even if the parcel had to be returned to the sender it's fine; right now it's just stuck in a loop and not going anywhere.

Finally, in case this is useful information, the contents are an old repaired Nintendo video game console plus its AC adapter - no dangerous goods of any kind nor any counterfeit goods either.

Just curious (for future reference), are AC adapters permitted to be shipped? I really cannot think of why there is anything in the package which is considered dangerous for airline safety. I can understand lithium battery not being allowed, but there is none inside. It's just a red and white Nintendo Famicom machine ... most people born after the '70s would be familiar with it.

you need ask shipper contact Royal Mail to file an investigation with China Post and try to return that parcel back to UK.
