Hi,

A package has been mailed to me (not registered) from South Africa. It has been 5 weeks since it was mailed out but how can I check if delivery was attempted?

RM480258211KR - WHERE IS MY PARCEL???

1. Any parcel that are mail without being Registered mail can not be track in any country. It is just like a normal letter.

2. You just have to hope that it will be delivered, normally their is no problems.

If I am not home when it is being delivered will they leave it at the door or will they return it to the post office?

2. Were do they put your letter?
3. Do you a mail box at home?
4. Will it fit in the mail box?
5. You must call or go to your local Post Office to find out your answer.

Is the parcel you are talking about is this one:

No, it is not that one. That particular one has been sent from Korea and I have still not received it.

1) Yes, it is a medium to large box
2) I have a mailbox
3) Yes
4) No - it will not fit in the mailbox
5) I have been to the local post office and I have not received helpful information.

1. Would you know by any chance how is delivering your mail in your area?
2. Is it the same person, does a neighbor know the answer?
3. Is it possible that the neighbor ask him what he will do with the parcel if it does not fit in your mail box?
4. May I ask have your tried China Post: 86 20 11185
5. Sorry for all those questions but I'm from Canada and if a parcel does not fit in the mail box (here in Canada), the postman will leave a paper telling you were to pickup your parcel even if it's not registered mail.

Hope the above information can help you since your local Post Office can not.
