Good day! I shipped 4 packages on the 13 of March from China to South Africa. So far the tracking shows until the 18th of March where it was exported from Guangzhou. Up until now there has been no update at all. I am starting to worry now as it has been 2 months already. Can you please give me some info on where my packages are and by when I can expect them?

these parcels starting with CP is called air/sea combined parcel. It is a very slow and CHEAP parcel service. Normally it will arrive South Africa in 4 to 6 MONTHS.

You can not get any information about such parcel after it left China. China Post worker can not answer your question because they don't know answer either. If you need to ship important or valuable item, do not use such sea/land combined CP parcel.

When I shipped it, they told me that it would take 2 months. And now you tell me 4-6 months??
How will I know if it reached South Africa? Will the tracking info update once it reaches SA?

China Post air/sea parcel arrival time to South Africa is not accurate, 2 months is the best situation , but less than 5% parcel can get such good luck. Most parcel will take 4 to 6 months. If parcel weight is over 2 kgs, it is 100% over 6 months.

After parcel arrives South Africa, South Africa Post website will show local location in their tracking page.
